Patrick Fealey, born in New York City in 1967 and raised in Rhode Island, is a journalist, poet, fiction writer, and essayist. He worked as an award-winning newspaper reporter and correspondent for The Boston Globe before leaving journalism to concentrate on creative writing. His work includes novels, short stories, poetry, and autobiographical nonfiction. His correspondence and manuscripts relating to Chiron Review are preserved in the magazine’s Yale archive. His powerful firsthand account of homelessness, “The Invisible Man,” appeared in Esquire in 2024.
