Chiron Review has long been considered a touchstone in the world of contemporary poetry. As the small press revolution exploded in the early ’80s, CR quickly became home to the likes of Charles Bukowski, Wanda Coleman, Lyn Lifshin, Charles Plymell, William Stafford, Marge Piercy, Robert Peters, Wilma Elizabeth McDaniel, Edward Field and a great many others, both well known and new.
