“haunted by the...”

Anthony Lucero
haunted by the wings on your back you cut off your breasts and became a child again. you couldn’t reach your wings or you would have got at those too. better take them at the roots or cut off their shoots you couldn’t decide and neither can i. we held hands and other things too but that is how it started, me taking your hand. it was of course the size of a child’s i don’t know how you did it but you did. magic. you had magic hands and you hated them but you hated a lot because your wings kept growing things in you and no one could miss it. the ones that did you loved the others you destroyed without exception. i tried very hard to skip the whole thing. but we kept holding hands and other things too knowing, knowing these things pretty well you and i. you kept growing and i kept growing and you cut off what you could until there was nothing left. i’m not saying you’re to blame i’m saying forgive me as i forgive you.
